Eric Diaz graduated from Bellarmine-Jefferson H.S. in 2002 and has passed away. The

The Leticia Cabrera Memorial Scholarship

To honor the memory of Letty Cabrera and her love for volleyball, a Scholarship was established

in her name. The recipient of the Scholarship has maintained a high grade point average and was

a varsity volleyball player who loves the game as much as Letty did. This year’s recipient is:

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY STELLA MARIS AWARD

The Stella Maris Chapter of NHS recognizes a graduating senior who reflects outstanding

accomplishments in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character. The

Bellarmine-Jefferson chapter of NHS requires students to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

throughout their four years of high school and actively participate in the chapters’ community

service projects as well as setting a good example for their peers.

The highest award given by Bellarmine-Jefferson High School to a graduating senior is

the Imago Dei Award. This award was established by the late Monsignor Keating and is based

on loyal service and scholastic achievement. The winner is selected as the senior who best

represents Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in school and community activities. The student

must have high moral standards and have a sincere loyalty to school in work and deed and show

an active interest in school functions. It gives me great pleasure to announce the winner of the
